General Terms and Conditions

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These General Hotel Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) summarize the contractual terms under which Napsugár Hotel (5904 Orosháza, Hűvös Street 2–4, hereinafter: Service Provider) concludes accommodation agreements with its Guests.

Individual conditions are not part of these GTC but do not exclude the possibility of separate agreements with travel agencies or organizers under specific conditions.


2. CONTRACTING PARTIES

The services provided by the Service Provider are used by the Guest. If the Guest places the order directly, the Guest becomes the Contracting Party. The Service Provider and the Guest jointly become contractual parties (hereinafter: Parties).

If a third party (Intermediary) places the order on behalf of the Guest, the relationship is governed by an agreement between the Service Provider and the Intermediary. The Service Provider is not obliged to verify the authorization of the intermediary.


3. TERMS OF USE OF SERVICES

The Service Provider sends a written offer upon request. If no response is received within 24 hours, the offer expires.

The contract is concluded only upon written confirmation of the Guest’s reservation.

Verbal agreements are not considered binding contracts.

The Guest must prove identity before occupying the room. No one may stay in the hotel without registration.

Without written confirmation, services can only be used after payment.


4. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Rooms are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival.

If the Guest does not arrive by 18:00, the Service Provider may withdraw unless otherwise agreed.

If a deposit has been paid, the room is held until 12:00 the next day.

Check-out is until 10:00 on the day of departure.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee.


5. EXTENSION OF STAY

Extension requires prior approval.

If the room is not vacated by 10:30 without approval, an extra night may be charged.


6. PRICES

Prices are displayed at the hotel and on the website.

Prices include VAT but exclude local tourist tax (IFA).

The Service Provider may change prices without prior notice.


7. OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS

Discounts apply only to individual bookings and cannot be combined.

Special agreements apply to group bookings and events.


8. CHILD DISCOUNTS

0–3.99 years: free
4–13.99 years: 50% discount

Extra beds must be requested in advance.


9. CANCELLATION POLICY

Within 72 hours: 50% of one night
Within 24 hours: 100% of one night

No-show with deposit: full deposit charged.


10. PAYMENT METHODS

Payment options: cash (HUF/EUR), bank card, bank transfer, SZÉP cards, vouchers.


11. REFUSAL OF SERVICE

The Service Provider may terminate the contract if the Guest:

  • misuses facilities
  • behaves inappropriately
  • is under influence of alcohol/drugs
  • has infectious disease

12. ACCOMMODATION GUARANTEE

If the hotel cannot provide the service, it must arrange equivalent accommodation at its own cost.


13. RIGHTS OF THE GUEST

Guests may use hotel facilities and submit complaints during their stay.


14. OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST

Guests must:

  • pay fees
  • follow hotel rules
  • supervise children
  • report damages

Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.


15. PETS

Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs.


16. RIGHTS OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER

The Service Provider has lien rights over Guest property for unpaid services.


17. OBLIGATIONS OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER

Provide services as agreed and handle complaints.


18. ILLNESS

Medical assistance is offered if needed.


19. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data is handled according to legal regulations.


20. LIABILITY

The Service Provider is liable for damages under legal conditions but not for:

  • external unavoidable causes
  • guest negligence

21. CONFIDENTIALITY

Personal data is handled in compliance with law.


22. FORCE MAJEURE

Unforeseeable events release parties from obligations.


23. APPLICABLE LAW

Hungarian law applies. Jurisdiction: competent Hungarian court.


24–26. DATA HANDLING, NEWSLETTER, PRIVACY

The Service Provider:

  • processes data securely
  • uses it for statistics and marketing
  • sends newsletters to subscribers

Effective from: August 1, 2019
Valid until revoked
